Frequently Asked Questions

We strive to keep our website updated with appropriate answers to our most FAQ. Additionally,
the most up to date, official policies can be found the following ways:

  • New customers: On the "Registration" link

  • Existing customers: In your parent portal click under "billing and payments" and then "policies".

As always, reach out if you have questions. Email is the best way to get ahold of us!

What age group should I sign up for and "borderline" age groups?

In order to provide a developmentally appropriate experience, our classes are divided by age. Athletes will be grouped within each class based on their abilities as needed. We firmly believe parents know best when choosing a group! We have overlap in ages because we know each child is different! Choose a group that aligns with your child's individual maturity. We coach based on abilities, not age!

How I do come prepared for class?

Wear something comfortable. A leotard or tight fitting shirt and shorts works great. No zippers, buttons, jeans or loose fitting clothing. No socks! For safety reasons, hair needs to be pulled away from the face securely. Bring a water bottle with your name on it! Don’t bring any valuables and try to minimize personal belongings that will need to be stored while you participate.

3

Do parents, caregivers or spectators stay for class?

Sure, we have a parent viewing area, but as a general rule: Please limit spectators. We try to utilize as much space in our facility for fun! More space for spectators = less space for rolling, flipping and flying. :) If you have a participant who may need bathroom support, stick around! We'd love your help! ;)

Do you save spots in classes or have make up classes? What do I do if class isn't working out?

In order to provide a sustainable, quality gymnastics program, we are unable to save spots without payment or offer refunds or make ups for missed classes once a class is in session. If you come to your first class and decide gymnastics isn’t for you, we offer all families an option of a one time refund for remaining classes. This refund is only available within 24 hours of your first class. See inclement weather policy for weather related cancellations. If the class is full and you are added to a waitlist, you won't be charged to hold your space on the wait list, but our system does require a credit/debit card on file for all customers for ease of future transactions.

It's mid- session. Is it too late to join?

Nope. As long as we have space in the class, join us! Your fees will automatically be prorated for late starts to class. Register and get ready to rock! We'll see you at your first scheduled class. We can't wait to see you! Joining late is "no biggie".

How do I know I am in the right class?

Our recreational programming is appropriate for a vast majority of boys and girls wishing to participate in gymnastics and other BGC activities. These programs include traditional beginner and intermediate skill work. Our recreational programs includes Together Time, Fun, Flips and Friends, NinjaFit, GymFit Homeschool, and Spirit Stars Cheerleading. Registration is by age and open to all participants. It is not uncommon to participate in multiple sessions and even YEARS of these programs prior to showing readiness for advanced programming/teams. Our staff is consistently monitoring each participant's readiness for more advanced programming/team programs. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
