Inclement Weather Policy
In most circumstances, BGC will announce cancellations via email and Facebook at least 2 hours in advance. Please note weather can rapidly change in Minnesota, so if unsafe conditions arise, it may still be appropriate to cancel within two hours to help keep staff and participants safe.
For Classes
In most circumstances, BGC will provide a make-up option that will be defined in the cancellation notification. Due to staff availability, gym space and calendar constraints, these make-up options will vary, but may include: options to join an alternative class, a completely rescheduled class, an open gym time option, etc. In situations when BGC does not offer at least one make up option for the cancellation, a credit will be applied to your BGC account for the missed class. Credits will not be given to those who cannot attend any of the provided make-up options. (All BGC credits expire one year from the date they were applied to your account.)
For Events
In most circumstances, BGC will give a full refund for the single day classes/camps to the original form of payment. If staff availability, gym space and calendar constraints allow, BGC will provide another opportunity for participation in the near future.
For Teams
For the first cancellation in any given month, BGC will not offer make ups, credits or refunds. If we have to cancel a second time in any given month due to weather or other reason, BGC will offer a makeup option (rescheduled class/open gym option) for the second cancellation and beyond. Credits and/or refunds will not be given.
